What to Expect

FOC is not a large church, but we know it can be overwhelming to walk into a place and not know where you're going or what to do. We try as much as possible to make you comfortable. We sit on Kildaire Farm Rd. There are two doors near the upper parking lot. This is where we recommend you come in, as these doors lead into our foyer.

As soon as you enter the front door you will be greeted by people who will welcome you and direct you and those with you to the appropriate places. Children may sit with their families or participate in kid specific activities and classes.

Our Vibe

Vibe.  Everybody has one.  People have it.  Businesses have it.  Families have it.  Churches have it.  The word has probably been overused.  Magazines, cars, songs all project this image of Vibe. The atmosphere, the feeling, the ambience.  The trajectory. The Vibe. But what kind of Vibe does the church project? At FOC, we want our Vibe to be “becoming like Jesus.” Nothing more, nothing less.

Where do my kids go?

Where do my kids go? At FOC, your children are very important to us. Providing a safe, secure and fun environment where they can learn about God is our highest priority -- and we know that getting them to the right place on Sunday is your highest priority.

What to wear

You can feel free to either “dress up for church” or “come as you are.” On any given Sunday you will see a couple of ties and dresses, a few shorts and flip flops and everything in between. Apart from guidelines of modesty and good taste, dress is at the dresser’s discretion.

Music

Music is one expression of worship at FOC. The music is of the contemporary variety with some contemporary arrangements of traditional hymns mixed in. We currently have three music team leaders. The leaders gather various members to form a team for that particular Sunday, consequently creating a different “sound” each week. Song lyrics are projected on a screen at the front of the sanctuary.
