As a Fellowship, we exist to . . .
know Jesus intimately
be fully empowered by the Holy Spirit
take the heart of the Father to all people
love others well in the way of Jesus
create loving environments for all to encounter Jesus
We are the Fellowship of Christ, a richly diverse community of Jesus followers united as a local congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
The Fellowship first met as a church on August 20, 1989. In those early nomadic months, our services were held in various hotel meeting rooms. From May 1990 to November 1993, we met in a local seafood restaurant, with our Sunday gatherings affectionately known as "The Smell of the Fish." In July 1990, David McLean accepted our call to serve as full time pastor. In mid 1992, we joined the Mid-Atlantic Presbytery of Evangelical Presbyterian Church, and in November of 1993 we moved to our current Cary location.
