Pastor David McLean joined Fellowship of Christ as lead pastor in 1990, within one year of the church’s formation. He has led the fellowship through many times and seasons, including developing a long-term partnership with people and pastors of Romania. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School and is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He spent his childhood years in Congo where his father served as a long-time missionary. He is a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, and he enjoys reading and golfing.
Pastor Mike Johnson joined our staff as assistant pastor and director of Community Life in 2023. His passions are building relationships and supporting fellow disciples of Jesus in their daily walks of faith. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Originally from Michigan, he is looking forward to explorations in his new home state. He enjoys hiking, reading, cycling, and spending time with his wife Anna and their two daughters.
Maggie Buchanan serves as our Office Team Leader, the one most likely to answer your phone calls and emails. She has been a part of our fellowship since childhood. She joined our administrative staff in 2014.
Morgan Mills, our team leader for Children's Ministry, taught elementary school classes at a variety of grade levels for 18 years prior to joining our staff. She is a graduate of Meredith College, where she earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and obtained a K-6 teaching license. She oversees and develops our children's programming for infants to 5th grade.
Kristen Ligotino, our team leader for Youth and Young Adult ministries, loves young people, finding their energy and quirkiness fun. She is honored to be able to teach the youth (6th-12th grades) and walk alongside them as they explore the gifts and promises that life in Christ offers. She also finds young adults insightful and tremendously fun to hang out with as she engages with them in Jesus-centered relational ministry.
